hungry hungry… birds?

My first JavaScript mashup game is alive: play it now, please, and let me know what you think in the comments below. It’s best with four players crowded around a keyboard, getting to know each other, but anywhere from 2-4 players can be fun.

There were a lot of things I’d like to have done better, but this was just the right scope for a stealing-free-time-on-the-weekend project. Maybe someday I’ll revisit it to hack in a circular playfield instead of a square. The holy grail might be to do all the canvas management on the server (maybe a great node.js learning project) and allow players on different machines to play against each other via websockets…

Can’t wait to see the kids play this tomorrow morning…

folks before you had this to say:

What fun! I would love it even more if it had the ear-crushing clicks and crunches like when my kids play HHH in the playroom. The first time I heard it I thought they were breaking everything in there.

    way to go man!

  2. Ann Reed

You are a genius Rob!!! The kids are going to go crazy!

Now to add Spanish sound effects: carumba!

  3. Merritt

    I’m already addicted. Nice work!

  4. Joe

    Ha, nice work!!

got something to say about that?
