Holy smokes, check out the amazing quilt our friends made for the baby! Leah, Reba, Leti, Shannon, Merritt, Melissa & Taylor, Chris & Kristen, Eric & Jessi, Dave & Michele, John & Kristie: you people are the greatest. Cheris literally cried with joy when she saw their beautiful work (which I must confess I knew a little something about in advance, heh heh heh)… more pictures and perhaps video to be posted here soon.

And here’s the mommy just three days before the doc’s official due date… Looking about ready to deliver, yes?

I allowed a couple late entries into the baby-guessing contest because I’m just such a nice guy. I’m too lazy to post the Excel file I made of the entries, but the final stats look like this:

• 22 guesses for a boy, 17 guesses for a girl (that includes one of each from my former boss Linda, who’s guessing twins against all odds!)
• Average weight: 7 pounds, 9 ounces
• 15 guesses before the due date, 2 guesses on the due date, 21 guesses after the due date

Now we just wait and see… easier said than done.
